Well, I think it's time to finally replace my Samsung SPH-N400 (2002MY) flip phone. I've had it for years and years and it's finally starting to die. It has decided that it's not going to browse the internet anymore and the battery only keeps a 1-day charge, so I have to charge it from zero every night. I replaced the battery in 2005 with a NOS unit from eBay ($5). I bought the phone originally for $30 so I can't complain.

Any suggestions for a replacement? I just want a simple phone like the SPH-N400 to make calls. I don't text, chat, play music, take pics or any of that.

Maybe I could just buy another new battery and keep on trucking for two more years? Might as well I guess... I think most of the problems I am having are related to the battery taking a dump.

OMFG I can't believe someone is still using this phone. I remember buying this back in 2002 though I did pay about 300 bucks for it.

Are there certain features that you want in a phone? Camera? Bluetooth? QWERTY keypad?

Bluetooth would be a plus, maybe ability to get iMap email... I don't need a smartphone though, I had a Treo 650 for work and didn't like it all that much.
