You asked for something above and beyond acknowledging the error, I asked for something above and beyond in return.

Simply make a thread critical of Republicans (about illegal immigration, if you'd like) and be done with it. Unless your ALLEGIANCE to the GOP forces you to not do so.

:D

You say "I will admit I was wrong in what I did if you do a bunch of things that have nothing to do with what I said".

You are a piece of work.

No, you were wrong, you need to man up and admit it. Stop being so prideful, it is obvious you were wrong, admit you were wrong.

Simple say the truth, say "I was wrong." Stating the truth is a good thing, you should try it here with that simple and short phrase.

I'm not going to satisfy your wants without getting something I want in return. Why should I? My error was already acknowledged and corrected.

You do something wrong, and refuse to admit you did something wrong unless there is some type of gain in it for you. That says a LOT about you. Not only does hubris control you, but you are also greedy and self centered.

Wll adjusted adults admit their mistakes. You refuse to do so. What does that mean?

I hate that politicians spend money frivolously, more so on the democrat side with social programs that have no embedded moral hazard in any decision anymore.

I hate that the republicans continue to start out everything with "we won't raise taxes." I also hate that abortion has been something that grinds the party together. Also I hate how contraception has now become equal to abortion, they are extremely different issues.

I acknowledged and corrected the error. What I refuse to do is satisfy your childish needs.

Well-adjusted adults don't make childish demands. You make such demands. What does that mean?

What, exactly, is the mistake that I have not corrected and must, according to you, admit to?

So you STILL refuse to publically admit you were wrong?

EDIT: Time warp, this was written after your post, below

Correcting and admitting are two different things. You slipped the correction in on the sly but REFUSE to publically admit you were wrong.

We both know you were wrong, yet you REFUSE to actually TYPE THE SENTENCE SAYING SUCH.

Why do you refuse to admit you were wrong? Is it your hubris or your self-centeredness? Or some other flaw we have yet to ferret out?

Here is what you are doing:

Will you admit you were wrong?
I corrected my error.
Correcting an error is not a public admission you were wrong.
I will not do such unless you do things for me.
So you will not admit you were wrong?
I corrected my error.
Correcting an error is not a public admission you were wrong.
I will do not such unless you do things for me.
So you will not admit you were wrong?
I corrected my error.
Correcting an error is not a public admission you were wrong.
I do not know what you want from me, I corrected my error.

I acknowledged the error and corrected it. There was nothing sly about the correction. It was made with a big EDIT in front of it.

I have only posted it multiple times, but I will do it again:

Publically admit you were wrong, simply say "I was wrong" and be done with it.

Normally I would, but you're curiously fixated on it... which makes it more fun for me to deny it to you.

Nice dance. ;)

Anyhoo, I'm not crazy how several uninformed Congressmen/women in my party backed the Republican Bill that brought us one of the worst recessions since the great Depression. I also am not crazy that a supposedly Democratic President Clinton signed it into law. He also signed into law NAFTA which also fucked over US manufacturing BIGTIME.

I also have to agree with Halo that it is disturbing to see Democrats tacting toward the Right and letting the Republicans fuck over every Social safety net they can get their hands on.

I'd guess everyone on P&N except you would believe that.

zsd, slight change there.

Everyone on P&N does not give a shit except him.

Seriously, are you guys married or something? I have not seen this kind of tiff over something this minor unless there was something more between the participants....

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you two? You start a thread that prompts some interesting discussion and then you completely derail it with a pissing match over possibly the most inconsequential thing in all of recorded history. Just let it go.

Back on track, I am also against the Democrats' stance on gun control (as others have mentioned). It's a silly debate and it really does feel like the government saying "you can't be trusted with this responsibility, so we'll just take it from you." I don't own a gun, I don't particularly want a gun, I've never even fired a gun, but I don't piss myself in fear when I think that other people might have them. Are people being gunned down in the street all over my town? No? Well then what the hell should I be so scared of? The Republicans are supposed to be the party of fear-mongering, dammit, leave that shit to them!

What about the Keystone Pipeline - support or not? Do you favor the jobs the unions are begging for that it will create or go with Obama?

The jobs are only temporary and i would back it if the house Republicans would have backed any of the job proposals that President Obama was trying to push.

I really have an issue with stoners. Smoking is not healthy and cannabis is a drug(or at least contains drugs). That doesn't mean I will stop consuming/smoking cannabis.

bfdd... that was kind of a confusing PUoSU post....

So are you against the Conservatives trying to outlaw it and spend money trying to "fight" it?

Sure I am, but I'm not a "Conservative" so why would I attack that? I'm pretty sure I have on multiple occasions made posts talking shit on idiots for the War on Drugs. I support the legalization of all drugs to be OTC.
