I assume you mean 1600 x 1200? I haven't tried that yet, but I am running 1280 x 960 with 16X anisotropic filtering and all the details maxed.

How much gameplay do the MOHAA expansions add? I'd pick that up but I hate buying a game I already have (MOHAA).

Has anyone played "Thief : Dark Shadows"?

Mohha expansiions are really good. Long as hell for the price.
 
I love Far Cry. Now I just put it in God Mode and have fun shooting people. 🙂 I don't have the time I used to to play games for hours upon end.

First off, I returned something to wally world that cost $35, so Far Cry was $4, and COD was $29. Secondly, it's my money. Third, I've just been playing it for a little while, and it's awesome. I could care less why you don't like it, but I've always been an eye candy guy, and I'm enjoying it. So basically...

As for FC, it was boring, repetitive, slow, and it crashed my computer all the time. The water was purty though.

Ahh...I had a feeling it might be something to do with your system. I can play it at high settings with no slow downs, and I haven't had a single crash yet, and I still have yet to install the patch.

Ahh..thanks. It should take me a bit longer since I rarely play a game for more than a hour in a sitting. The exception is a good RPG like Morrowind...

I have no interest in multiplayer gaming, and it seems there are fewer and fewer games with a good single player experience.

I found Civ 2 to be a better game, not as pretty, but better game play.

My system is fine, XP 2500+ and a 9800 Pro. By slow I don't mean the frame rate, I meant the overall pace of the game was very slow. Slowly crouch walking through 15 minutes of high grass so you can sneak on each enemy only to get killed by a lucky shot and having to do it all over again is not my idea of a good time.

It's a great game. Very immersive and quite long (by today's standards) and challenging. The graphics are about the best to be found anywhere.

The only pick I have with it is the short cut-scene ending. I felt short-changed, as in WTF?, after all the final battle work................Again, that normal nowadays it seems......I haven't been satisfied with a cut scene ending in a looong time!

Buy Far Cry, you'l enjoy it. 😉

I also bought a new mouse...trackball hell is over😀...although it was sick when it came to helicopters in BF1942..ah well...

I haven't played COD yet, but FC is great. It is a bit hard though, but still fun. For some reason, these games with vehicles, I have so much trouble driving them. 🙁

What mouse did you get, I've been playing with the MX700 and it works well.
