I am a little confused. Isn't Klixxer a part of the German Nato contribution to Afghanistan?
Both statements seem quite correct to me. ;)

But, why the confusion?

NATO made me an officer because of my accomplishments in battle in Afghanistan, do you know WHY i went to Afghanistan?

Same guy, right?

Here's what I know about Klixxer:

He was a Lieutenent leading a platoon in Bosnia before the Peacekeepers got there,
and was a Captain with the 401 GBSO in Kosovo.

I think he's still a Captain in the German Army - with NATO comittment,
specialized in leading smaller troups in cities (Urban Combat Situations)

Yup, german army, working for nato. America is one of the countries that won't let NATO have supreme control of their forces. Germany isn't.

I didn't know you were serving in Afghanistan, and I rarely agree with your posts, but I do sincerely thank you for your service in fighting terrorism.

Of course it would be kranky delivering the Gold Standard of rising above personal and political differences to do the right thing with easy grace and style.

kranky is a man who's been around here since before the beginning, a man who can and has put fools to the mat with swiftness and certainty, a man who always speaks his mind. And yet, here he is, all heart and class, stepping up and doing the simple right thing, the true definition of a man.

Welcome home. I'm confused. Were you a German soldier fighting for Bush's Coalition of the Willing???

NATO forces have been involved in Afghanistan since the war started, i don't fight for anything, i just do what i am ordered to do, just like every other soldier.

So take your politics about the situation and shove them up your ass.
