My dad is in the market for a new-used car. He is looking to spend about 10-12k on it. American cars are out of the question, and im making it that camerys and corrolas are also invalid choices. Lookin for something around 40k miles, good brand, easy to maintain....

I was thinkin of a nissan...hah?
 
if you get nissan pay attention to electronic, sensors. We owe 2 different nissans and both of them experience electronic problem,sensors go bad. on is 95 another one is 97
 
I alost fell out of my chair when I saw an ad recently on TV for a brand new kia or hun-die for $4999.

Go check that out first.

I would dig a hole in the iraq desert and live in it before i drive one of those...i think it would just be embarasing.

Hey, I test drove a 2k3 tibiron, and I have to honestly say that is one car that I wouldn't be embarassed to drive 😉

I just bought a 99 Accord coupe. for 11.5 42.5K on it. In good condition. I love the car. Mine is a Silver Ex with sunroof, keyless entry, it's a manual. I'm really happy with it.

o.k. i got an old couch, bolt that in the back of the bed....
i'll throw in the gator cargo net...
that will give the seating and "trunk space"....
and you could be diving this beautiful baby shlt brown beast for only 3,500

Nothing really, i just dont want to fit right into the stereo type for East Indian people... Plus, i live in sunnyvale california, if we got a camry i'd get so lost in a parkinlot thinking they were all myne..

acually i am an equal oportunity car buyer...
well almost. no fords after 70.
but i own presently, pontiac grand am, chevrolet pickup , hyundai excell, toyota 4x4 , and a honda (odyssey).
have in the past owned 3 toyota celicas, nisssan pulsar nx, gmc pickup, ford pickup, several other chev trucks,
an olds, and a edsel coupe

edit: forgot about the 46 vw bug hitlermobile. it was cool, had all german in the car and had a big old german militay eagle and the like on the dash.

and don't laugh at the crackerbox on wheels hyundai! it was free and i've beat the crap out of it for a good year now as a daily driver. gets me there and gets damn good gas mileage. wouldn't ever buy one mind you, buy i own one. lol!

YUP!!! I have a 93' altima, and had a sensor go bad just this last winter. A real PITA.
