And send the military into Congress to make them vote a certain way. Basically they know Biden won't abuse this power for the next 6 months and then Trump will declare himself king at its all over.

This case shows this court is out of control and should be blatantly ignored. Biden should immediately order the DOJ to arrest Thomas and Alito for corruption and do a full investigation of the others.
 
Damn, you go girl. Reporter in the court describing Sotomayor reading her decent. She had a mocking tone with how she said this court gave the president the right to kill off political opponents. The rights to commit a coup. And then directly addressed the floor, why did this decision need this much time. It could have been handled far faster.

I agree, the court is totally out of control now and has officially endorsed the idea that democracy exists only as long as the president decides it should. Biden should take them at their word, remove them forcibly, and have them replaced.

This is a 'break glass' moment.

Of all the ways SCOTUS could've issued an opinion granting some form of absolute immunity (something I considered improbable) they went about doing so in the worst possible way, to give the biggest benefit to Trump and his goons.

The craziest thing to me is that the majority did not even make any sort of attempt to define official acts vs. unofficial acts based on the indictment of Trump--they punted it back to the lower courts to figure out because, hey, if this case is still around in a year or so [i.e. Biden wins] then they can just delay it AGAIN with another appeal to SCOTUS.

It is absolutely insane to see this as a legitimate opinion based on any original reading of the Constitution or any precedent in our roughly 250 year history as a country.

President Biden, if he had any T left in his shriveled old testicles, should just confer with his Justice Department, designate the entire Heritage Foundation as a foreign-backed terror organization, and summarily execute every last one of them and claim absolute immunity as an official act. LOL.

Welp, we had a pretty good run. GOP's long game finally coming to fruition. Kinda ironic that tht killshot came on the week of 4th of July.

Because like it or not he's got that old man DGAF thing going for him. He doesn't have a problem hurting people's feelings (see Putin, Xi) and seems to be fully aware of the risk Trump poses to the nation. He's old enough he doesn't have to worry about hypocritical reprisals. We'll see.

Your historical penchant for getting everything quite wrong does give me a little comfort here though, so thanks for that.

Cool, got him on some hush money charges that will literally do no harm to him, will not get him into prison, and will certainly not keep him out of the WH.

Again, who is getting it wrong here? Not to mention all the "Biden is the only one who can beat Trump" nonsense when even the majority of Dem voters didn't want him to run again, and that was BEFORE his debate debacle.

When Biden loses, and all the exit polls scream about his age and cognitive decline, I'm sure you'll find a way to spin that too.
