Time to dispatch seal team 6 to eliminate a threat to national security

Yeah, the more I hear/read on this ruling the worse it sounds. Removes a sizable portion of the evidence in the J6 indictment outright, and probably a lot more after fighting it out in court.
 
I have to say I expected them to narrow things and kick it back to lower courts in order to buy Trump time but I’m shocked at how insane this ruling is.

From what I’ve briefly read it seems they endorsed the idea that Biden can have them and Trump all killed and it would be legal.

"Acts are presumed to be official" is the way it's being interpreted. Meaning that the burden is on the prosecution to disprove that.

It’s truly nuts. They said Trump is ‘presumptively immune’ for trying to get Pence to overthrow the government.

Not true - SCOTUS explicitly stated that Trump is presumptively immune for attempting to get Pence to overturn the election, because ‘discussing their constitutional duties’ is official conduct.

They just gave the green light to coups.

Not a joke, Biden should probably have Trump and the conservative SCOTUS justices imprisoned or killed now as he could easily argue that they are a domestic threat to the constitution he’s obligated to defend.

Also important is that SCOTUS said it’s impermissible to inquire as to the president’s motives for his conduct so he’s in the clear.

This court has at nearly every turn embraced chaos and authorities way beyond anything the founders imagined with the idea that their ideological allies will benefit from it at no cost to them or the country writ large. This is effectively a judicial coup but somehow they got too carried away and have now ok'd their own deaths if they become inconvenient.

I mean I personally think smashing the contract of constitutional order that the government has with the governed could result in some pretty bad outcomes.

I do have to say it is darkly amusing that the conservative majority have not considered the possibility that Emperor Kamala Harris could, like 8 months from now, be keeping them chained up in the WH basement and subjecting them to genital electro shock torture for her own amusement and it would be perfectly legal.
