I just blew tons of money on a new comp!

(the major mistake most people will think of is that i didnt wait for the 7900gt's...but ya know what? i dont care! i knew that when i was buying it so just save your breath with those comments)

my current system/3days from now soccerball....

cpu athlon 2400+
graphics.. 4xagp slot (ohhh yeah) with a 9800pro thats blown
1gig pc3200ram (yoink!)
ghey emachines case! (parents just dont understand!)


new system!

3800+ x-2
7800gt 70mhz overclock chip and 100mhz overclock memory from factory... (i got that combo from newegg... trust me, my budget was just tight enough that...it was necessary)
antec smart power 500w psu
thermaltake tsunami dream case (black one with window)
misc other stuff arctic silver5 a keyboard...wireless controller...
dvdburner... (never had one before;

and ya know what?!
for the next 10 seconds im going to be happy before my system is outdated

That's not fair on you, it'll be at least a week till the new 7900s are out and your GPU becomes outdated.

well...since its factory overclocked so much..im satisfied...for 300$ i could get the 7900gt and spend 110$ on a mobo...or for 350 i can get this..which is the same thing..since i dont overclock...

Nice one :thumbsup: Screw waiting for new technology! Thats for suckers, if we all did that we would probably still be using 486's waiting for the pentium 5 or whatever.
