I am sure your argument seems clear and obvious to you, but it is not to me.
Yes, both things were brought to the forefront of society because of issues that were primarily effecting blacks. The laws that came from that were for all to benefit, not just blacks. It is true that blacks were likely the ones who received the biggest benefit, as they were the group was the largest and widely abused, but that does not mean the law was only for them. The solution for systemic black racism is the same for ending all racism, which is to respect all equal peoples.
You don't treat blacks equally because its nice, but because they are equal and its just.
