I would go back in time and attempt to learn proper english, or any english for that matter. Then zoom back here and attempt to post this thread again.
 
The moon fell apart due to humans detonating nuclear devices internally to create room to live or something to that nature. Appearantly they blew up too much and you know the rest.

But yes, as a movie it did suck.

Moon fell apart because there were mining on it. Supposedly, they used too large of an explosion.

There are mutants because after chunks of the moon fell on earth, half of humanity went underground and evolved separately from those who were above ground.

I don't think the movie made sense either, but they explained that much.
