If this is the video I think it is (slow loading) it's done by Michel Gondry.

meaning??

That's probably why the video is better than the band.

Michel Gondry is an excellent music video director. Also, recently directed Endless Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

What kind of car is that? Old stang?

who knows

I figured someone would be able to tell by the steering wheel and the hood. eh.

I like the time lapse effect.

yeah, Id like to read on how they filmed it, like if they filmed the whole trip or just like 5 min segments or what

so, I was looking here http://www.director-file.com/gondry/Dxlviii.html and it says

"The video consists of digitally fast forwarded time lapse 16mm photography shot from a rig set up in the back seat. The entire seven-day journey, shot at one frame per second of driving (one frame per 10 seconds at night) is compressed into less than four minutes."

so, I guess it IS the whole thing
