Given that Obama's numbers have had a marked increase in the past little while, which has coincided with early voting, I would think that even if, for example, all polls came out today and said that Obama and McCain are dead-even, that the votes already cast would sway to Obama.

So, what I'm trying to say is, not only does he have an overwhelming lead already, but much of it is already locked in. Thus, assuming the polling isn't complete rubbish, one can safely conclude that for McCain to win on Nov 4, the polls would have to show on that day a significant lead in McCain's numbers to offset the disproportionate lock that Obama already has.
