Since the only person worth mentioning is barred from being mentioned, I'll refrain from saying anyone. >.> <.<

Probably Rubycon or Idontcare. However I'm really tempted to add Russ to the list for some reason...

Idontcare

So why am I posting in this thread? :hmm: :p

I'd say Rubycon if she consistently made sense.

@ViRGE, I don't think Russ, NCNE, is qualified. (NCNE == No Certification, No Education.)

My first thought too, I thought of linuxboy when I was reading the thread title.

It's too bad that people here don't get a chance to read his writing like he used to put out.
He and his business partner got nominated to do a TED talk next year. May or may not get chosen, and it also probably depends on whether they get their current business project fully in flight by then, but if so everyone can enjoy him speaking. He's more whimsical in writing though. :)

there was a time when the 'highly technical' subforum was full of legit physics guys. probably one of those guys.

And I used to read HT *ALL* the time, back then.

I'd love to know where they all went so I could read more of that.

Not sure who's actually smartest, but TFP was up there. He (she?) was a troll, but a very insightful, sharp, witty one.

I'm always impressed by Fern. Calm, level headed and able to get his point across very succinctly. He's beyond smart, he's wise.
