Time for me to "Ante Up"...

I need to get a cracking address for:
CLL_Sr, DeathFromAbove, and denali.

Until then, Dougal's next!

Osmo.

DeathFromAbove-

I wasn't able to dig up your cracking address so I haven't done them yet.😉 I am giving all blocks donated to "osmo's choice" to Aberant since until just recently, he has been without a computer. Thanks for the reply!😀

Osmo.

I'm done with Dougal, JonB is next!😉

BTW - I still need addresses for these that I have skipped:
CLL_Sr
denali
Hellburner
jatwell

Or you can give them away to someone else of course.😀

Osmo.

Hellburner, jatwell, MGallik, office boy,

You're the only ones left on my list. I would like to pay out these RC5 blocks to you guys or to anyone of your choice.😀

Please let me know what we can work out.🙂

Osmo.

You got it Hellburner!🙂

KingHam, your blocks have been sent. I know it's not much against Ray's secret source of blocks but I hope it helps.😉

Osmo.

Russ, PF, & DFA, your blocks have been flushed.😉

Hellburner, jatwell, office boy, & MGallik, you guys are up to bat!😀

Osmo.

Hi All, time for another update, 😀

CLL_Sr - Just submitted your blocks. 🙂
Kwatt - My spare clock cycles have your name on them.😉

Osmo.

Osmo, how do you swap the e-mail addresses so easily? Are there just a few clients or do you run some sort of script or remote cows program?

Looks like I'm nearing the end guys...

denali, Hellburner, jatwell, office boy, & MGallik, I just flushed your blocks this morning. (Aberant should be really surprised. He's currently ~3300 blocks which is 2.5X his best day ever!😀)

Kwatt is still in process...
...saving the best for last?😛 Thunder should be the last one, when Kwatt is finished I'll set him up.😉(of course I'll be checking the donations list for additions. If more filter in, I'll be at this again.🙂)

JonB-

No scripts involved here. I've basically been using the top 6 machines that I have at my disposal:

PII400 - home
PIII600 - work
2*PII400 - work
PII350 - work
PII300 - work

Here was/is my proceedure (performed via command line with the latest client release):

Initially,
I set up the client with the first new address menu 1-1
I set the client to shutdown when the inbuff was empty menu 1-2 (value -1)
I changed the fetch threshold to the WU's (500 for this project) menu 2-11 (value RC5=500)
I finally disabled buffer updates so that the setting in step 2 would be performed menu 2-5 (value yes)
I made sure to delete the buffers to start fresh and restarted the service.

After that, it has been really easy. I just monitored the logs over the network to keep current. When a client had shutdown, at the command line:

-flush
-config (changed to the next address)
-fetch
-svcstart

Osmo.😀

As i was just tearfully saying on IRC, i really am astounded by all the offers. You lot have had me in tears - literally. What can i say ? Thank you is not a big enough word. I never thought that i would find a group of people like you - i have found home. I wish there was something i could give back - and one day there will be. I LOVE YOU GUYS. And now i have to go as i started crying again, and i dont wanna break teh keyb. Thank you so much - i really cant tell you what it means to me. 🙂

Good Morning,😀

I just had a chance to drop off Kwatt's blocks.🙂
That just leaves Thunder....It's cracking as I type.😉

Osmo.

Good Morning Everyone,😀

Thunder's blocks have been flushed.😉

With that, I'm caught up to this point. The following breakdown is provided for all of the stats junkies (we know who we are 😉):

Total Blocks Sent to Date: 12,000
Blocks Forwarded to a 3rd Party: 7,500
(Aberant=5,250 ViRGE=1,250 BK=1000)
Unwanted Blocks: 2,500

I'll be watching the Server Donations page for a while still to catch any donations that filter in. I would like to personally thank everyone again for your donations to the PProxy, I'll enjoy using it as much as every one of you. I've had a lot of fun with this project!😀

Osmo.
