They say max is 2GB because of Dual Channel config... but hey are able to run 3GB no problem (actually around 3.3, that is why some are putting 4GB in to get the max 3.3 and still have dual channel).

hmmmm, well I already have two 1gb sticks sitting around so I may just go that route...

Has it been stable for people with 3.3gb? 😉

From what I have read, it has been just fine. Some even swear the speed of 2x2 (4GB) is very noticeable over 1x2 (3GB)

So i got up early today... All the had was the previous white 2.0ghz w/ superdrive for $949, so i held off... One thing i noticed, it looks like it only came with iLife 06 🙁

No biggie though, I'll hold off for a black macbook.. Or hope that apple sneaks in a MBP update soon so I could pick up a previous gen for under $1400 (cheapest i've seen is $1499)

BTW, thanks everybody for the help!

They had a black MB this AM (5 AM or so). But it was a Core Duo, not Core 2. They had a couple of white ones too. I can't imagine that they come with 06 though. My MBP install had the iLife on the DVD, so I imagine it will be the same and 08 will be on the Leopard dvd. I will know mid week next week for sure. My MB is suppose to ship today.

lol, looks like I need to get up even earlier 🙂

thanks for the heads up!

On the right side, under where it says it includes leopard, it showed iLife 06 🙁
