Time change?

Today while typing up a PM I noticed that the time on my system clock was horrendously wrong (over 2 hrs!).

I think I may have caught some dumb bug somewhere... so proceeded to scan with AdAware and NAV... even updated my virus defs. Nada.
It happened to me again just a few mins ago. Time was set back 1 hr and change.

Any ideas? Is there any new stuff, spyware/hiddenware/trojan out there that causes this?

If you have Windows XP or 2k it has a auto time check with a time server. Sometimes the time will be off and Windows will adjust it to that wrong time.

my time goes off by exactly 2 hours all the time. It is always exactly 2 hours slow. Happens about 3 times a month. Very annoying. Running XP SP1

Weird... yet another feature I don't want... any way to turn it off?

EDIT: time zone settings, region options all correct... methinks it goes off 1hr + 2 mins each time.
Mebbe I'll just run my separate time server proggie to "fight" it... ick
