Timberland 40% off Friends and Family

got a few things this afternoon 🙂

I went to the Timberland store in CT (Westfarms Mall), and I walked out with nothing. I was going to get my boots, but they didn't have the ones I wanted. The associate tried to get me to order them online at the store. I said "I can do this at home". He said I couldn't do it at home and get the 40% off. I showed him the certificate, and he felt like a moron. I would've did it, but I also had a $10 mall gift certificate which they wouldn't let me apply to the purchase, because "I was ordering them online", even though I was there physically in the store. I got irritated and just left. They must have the most idiotic people I've ever seen working retail. Plus, their prices were outrageous. They try to suck you in with that 40% off deal, but what they don't tell you is that they jack up the prices, so even with that 40% off, you're still overpaying.

They will accept exchanges at a later date. I went to a timberland outlet store and got a few things. just double checked the contents for any marks and ended up saving a bunch.

man the jackets are like 150 plus!!

do they price it like these year round?? or do they jack up the price before having the 40%..

i went in and used the 40% and there was a 30% off sale too. I got a 62 dollar sweater for around 28 after tax. I think they gave me 30% off, then took 40% off of that, but *shrugs*

Timberland is expensive.. that's why i only go on FF 🙂

The jackets were cheap at the outlet. I got the 3-in-1 ($170ish online) for $100 - 30% outlet sale - 30% F&F, worked out to $49. Ditto with shoes and sweaters, ended up spending $160 last night.
