I've been wanting to post this for a while, but now I have no choice I need to rant.
You have got to seriously question who's in charge at Tim Horton's and where do they get these employees? it's scary.
I go into Timmy's at 2am and order the chicken stew in a bread bowl deal, simple enough.
The person comes back with chilly in a normal take-out bowl with a bun !!!
I tell the person in a very pleasant voice "but I ordered the chicken stew in a bread bowl deal" (with frustration) "But we don't have any chicken stew left, and the bread bowls are not ready yet" "why did you bring me chilly and a bun, I don't want any of that"
"So now you don't want this either" as she give me the evil eye. I slowly back away and leave.
On another trip around 7am "Just a coffee with milk please"
"Excuse me but isn't that cream you just put in" the drone has a 1 liter carton of Cream in his hands. "well it's the same thing" WTF... "but it's not the same at all, do you have any milk" "sigh... I'll go check (mumbeling motherf... or similar)" Tim Horton's will check to see if they have milk ?????
On another trip with my wife around 6:00am again. We're about 5 people at the counter waiting with no one in sight. "Excuse me (as I yell out) is there anyone that can serve us here" someone comes around the corner "well I work at the take-out and the person on the counter shift isn't here yet" so Tim Horton's was open but there's no one working at the counter only at the drive-through. WTF. Hello.... don't open the store if there's no one working there.
Today, I'm working the night shift and go to Timmy's and order a coffee and a doughnut.
As I order I notice that they are disposing away of the old doughnut's in the garbage, but she picks one off the rack just before the doughnut drone puts a whole stack in the garbage bin. "so he's putting those in the garbage but it's ok for you to sell me this one?" "we normally do this and clean up during the night" "eeehhh yea.... I think I'll just have the coffee".
At Timmy's there's a fine line between fit for human consumption and fit for Garbage.
