I realize that... i've ordered in the past without issue and ordered in the past with issues.

I think everyone knows it's a gamble for tigerdirect.

i thought i got screwed with the X800 XT AGP / X800 PRO AGP mixup from earlier, but i ended up getting the X800 XT after all, for $250

hehe... ordered one anyways. It is a 850 XT PE. Says so under the detail pages. And TD is one of the retailers listed on ATI's site for the rebate and Crossfire Promo

Hey thanks! i didn't see the rebate offer.. $75 off isn't shabby. problem is that if it's a white box. then no upc.

It may or may not be, but that's a good point of why even third party rebates have been known to fall through with TigerDirect -- NO UPC on a completely white box!! (even if merchandise is not open/used.)

this card is $361 shipped vs $400 After Rebate from Newegg. Pretty good deal even without the rebate.
Only risk is not having the rebate for insane $275 AR....

by the way, I cancelled mine. I called TD and talked to a rep, he said it is OEM and has no UPC. Alos, says there is no reboate on this one.

Ya know, it just came to me, but this isn't that hot of a deal. The 7800GT should be out soon, and with an MSRP of $399. Cards don't sell for MSRP that long, so it wouldn't be hard to get one for $350. But I guess if you want the fastest card today for $350, it is a nice buy.
