Seems to me when he can't win he loses interest in a tournament, particularly when it's not a major.

He's focused on majors and the Masters is coming up soon. IDK much about his back problem, but it was probably a good idea for him to withdrawal. If he aggravates his back at the least it would hamper his prep for the Masters.
