EA games are notoriously buggy, my assumption would be that it's the game rather than your system. Supporting this, you said other games work fine. Found this in google: Link, maybe try that.

Upgrade your DirectX just to be sure.

First time I joined a game online I got the BSOD, then after returning to the lobby I had a 100% disconnect rate. People kept asking "How do you have a 100% d/c rate?". Needless to say, it was hard to find games for a while until I got it back to a reasonable level.

P.S. My DxDiag:
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

And, at the bottom of "Display Devices":
Registry: OK
DDraw Status: Enabled
D3D Status: Enabled
AGP Status: Enabled
DDraw Test Result: All tests were successful.
D3D7 Test Result: All tests were successful.
D3D8 Test Result: All tests were successful.
D3D9 Test Result: All tests were successful.

(Don't hate me because I still have AGP, lol.)
