perhaps the recent events involving tigers and humans should lead us to believe that they shouldn't be in captivity for our amusement?

sucks for the girl and the family. but its a freakin' tiger. (although in this case it is a sanctuary, but still)

I'm sure the tiger just leaped out and crushed her neck. She was dead by the time the tiger was.

Posing with the tiger for pictures? WTF? The tiger doesn't know anything about pictures, the tiger probably thought the girl was dinner.

I'm sorry, but people are complete idiots when it comes to wild animals.

I used to work at a theme park where we had wild peacocks roaming around. You heard me, wild peacocks, colorfuls tails and all. Very pretty, but you didn't screw with them, they WOULD hurt you if you did.

You have now idea how many times I had to tell parents. "Hey! That's a wild animal! You want your child to get hurt?!".

There was one time when this idiot couple wouldn't listen and turned to argue with me. That's when the little kid pulled on the peacock's tail feathers, and the peacock went straight for the kid's face. Geez. You just don't mess with wild animals!

OK, rant over. Move along.

When will ppl realize.... its a wild animal, not fvckin stuffed toy!
I blame the fvcking ppl who portray tigers as somewhat controllable animals. They are unpredictable and can do whatever they fvck they want when they want.

If you work with a tiger, be prepared to die everytime you enter the cage with them.... same goes for those wanting to take photos or be in an area where the tiger is not behind a fence or in a cage of some kind.

Poor girl, brainwashed by the ppl there telling her she'll be safe.... hope he/she can live with this on thier conscious! :|

i'm sure they killed the tiger in attempts to save the girl's life.

lesson learned here should be to realize these are wild animals and not props for human photos.

Maybe, but either way it would've been put to sleep. Whether the girl lived or it had, or both.

There was no reason to kill the tiger. It shouldn't have been in the sanctuary in the first place. First you take it away from it's natural habitat. Then you have this idiot teen invade the tiger's space. When the tiger does what it would do in it's natural home, they kill the tiger. Fvck them.
