Drive is good but td rebate blows.. you almost never get it

Never had problems with them especially now that it is done online. In fact, for $1 you can have it back in less than 3 weeks from the time you submit.

Anyways, this is a hot deal considering I recently bought a 120GB for $79.99 that is like $160 for 240GB!

Second Day (2 days)-- Estimated Delivery Fri, Sep 13, 2013 [$9.38]

That 2nd one is the offer to join InnerCircle.

Should I go in for 1? I haven't owned an SSD yet and this seems like a good deal.

Depends on your application, do you need the speed, do you need the size?

I am running "carefully" a 120GB and have 40GB open, but but I keep the C drive as clean as possible with everything non essential on 2TB WD Reds.

I would put all music and other media on my HDD, but I am not as careful about managing what I have installed, which would be Steam games. I may do some light work with Maya and ZBrush.

Just for booting your computer into the OS in 15 seconds, it's worth it.

Why would you need a SSD for that?

One of these days I'll have to move my OS from my 50MB/s '06 WD800JD to my new 180MB/s 1TB Seagate. But things are so fast the way they are that I can't be bothered.

But good deal on the SSD.

LOL.

Cos most of the computer users i know or seen, have their way into their OS after a minute at least, after windows update needs to restart, another minute or 2, installing new driver? need to reboot, another 2 minutes etc.

Absolutely, doing a bunch of reboots and you appreciate the SSD.
