It's a reasonable question, but presumably there's a difference to someone.
This is the kind of shit that made people vote Trump.
Kinda funny, since they're usually the ones bemoaning the "pussification of America" when they're the ones getting sandy vaginas about things that realistically have little to no perceptible impact on their life.

you said that's all of them? so... is it offensive to say you are male or female now? you have to say "other"

Does it really not allow one to select "male" or "female"? I'm a shens-leaning gender skeptic.

So what?
It's a dating service and doing this benefits all users in that now when you are searching for "woman" you get females instead of males or people with "Before we do anything, let me explain...."
If you are specifically looking for "Gender whatever\Trans\wghatever" now you waste less time swiping.

Having said that...
I'm ready to abandon thread after seeing that Tider isn't some hot new app that I didn't know anything about.

You say that now just wait until were working on our 10th bathroom type or your kid calls a boy, a boy and the parents sue because he identifies as a female.

That's scary because it's plausible.

Pretty much this. People are free to act as crazy as they want but I'll be damned if I play along too. If it were confined to how they wanted to see themselves that's fine, but when colleges start forcing us to use stupid pronouns else it be considered harassment then it becomes not fine. And we've already started the slide down that slope and it IS affecting other people now. :)

It's hard to imagine why we'd need 10 bathroom types.

My understanding of that situation is that it's intended to address people that say things like "People are free to act as crazy as they want but I'll be damned if I play along too" and intentionally and aggressively address someone by a different pronoun with malicious intent, not people who make simple mistakes.
I will grant that the potential for abuse of these rules is certainly a big problem.

The difference is, in your future world they could actually win.
If the harassment is sufficient to convince the court system that they deserve to win, that seems fine. It could probably happen today under our existing system of laws.
