In the 1980s, Pablo Escobar's Medellin Cartel was spending $2,500 a month on rubber bands just to hold all their cash.
That's insane!

You just described my life and I've been able to get it down to less than 200 steps per day. It helps now that I have a 3yo to fetch beer from the fridge for me.5,000 steps even seems generous. I wonder what it is for someone who lives in a suburban setting and drives to work everyday and works on a computer all day?
The job I currently have now I am in my cubicle on my computer or in meetings 99% of the time sitting down. I know it's not healthy, but I don't know what I can do about it. We don't have standing desks, but I try and get up once every half hour, either to get water, coffee, print something off, go to the bathroom etc. I also make a conscious effort to go for a walk during lunch if it's not raining. You just described my life and I've been able to get it down to less than 200 steps per day. See, I concentrate my effort the opposite direction. The only way I could eliminate more steps would be to use a pee jug or something, but that might cross the line to rude. :hmm:The job I currently have now I am in my cubicle on my computer or in meetings 99% of the time sitting down. Also that questions should have a question mark at the end.
So I'm a fan of trivia. Contrary to popular belief from what seems to me a large amount of users on this forum, I do know a thing or two about useless stuff. On Facebook for example, I usually always beat my opponents in the game's triviador and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. I love the board game Trivia Pursuit and my family NEVER beats me. LOL So with that this thread is the Tid Bit of the day thread. Post a Tid Bit (not bull shit).
Tid Bit #1
Got this from the back of a Snapple tea bottle cap. They always have fun facts on the bottom of the caps.
I'll paraphrase: "Male pups inherently allow female pups to win while playing so that they can get to know them better."
I LMAO when I read that, but I guess it's true. You can go to snapple.com and find other tid bits.
This made me wonder...is there a proper MLA format to use when citing a Snapple cap as a source?Interesting fact: Snapple bottle cap facts are made up by Earl the janitor when he's done with the restrooms.
Seriously though, check facts before you repeat them. You'll save yourself from looking like a fool some time.
My phone's pedometer says I average 10,865 steps a day. I guess I only though I was a lazy fuck. Pick it up America!
Are you sure it isn't that your phone thinks you're a pedo and is counting the number of times you touch yourself?
