HOW CAN THEY KEEP ADDING MORE FEES?!?!?

I mean 2.50 for ticketfast was already bullshit but...

Goldenvoice Presale US $13.00 x 2
Facility Charge US $2.00 x 2
Convenience Charge US $5.90 x 2

Delivery (Will Call) No Charge
Order Processing Fee US $5.35

Total Charges US $47.15

ISN'T THE GODDAMN CONVENIENCE CHARGE THE SAME AS A FUCKING ORDER PROCESSING FEE!??!

No, the convenience fee is for you having the convenience of purchasing them without waiting at the box office. The processing fee is, well...for processing your convenience.

Thank you for your business! WE value that you have chosen ticketmaster over everybody else for your convenience.

You don't know the trick to getting them to waive all those fees? Just hit the end key three times before you click submit.

is it some legal thing that makes them itemize the total cost of ticket? just seems like bad PR/Marketing.

I'd imagine it's so the artist only cuts a cut from the ticket portion and not the fee portion.

dude. that's exactly what i was thinking when i bought these UFC tickets today. fucking stupid.

BUT then i thought - would you really have noticed if the order processing fee was part of the convenience charge (i.e. a higher convenience charge and no order processing fee)?

ticketmaster blows

thats a lot of nickels and dimes...

ive never paid for a concert ticket in my life.... ive always gotten free ones from my dad and his friends (they all worked shows). but when i went with friends to get their tickets, they would still pay huge fees after standing in line for hours. ticketmasters has always been a rip off.

Ticketmaster sold me tickets for Wicked in Chicago last summer with an unobstructed view. Get to the seats, you can't see the top part of the set pieces and people's heads are cut off when they were standing on this bridge thing going over the stage :|.

Fucking rip off with their god-damn fees too.

That is because Air Supply gives away tickets, not because you are special.

In an attempt to avoid fees that exceeded the cost of the actual ticket, I bought Portland Winterhawks tickets at the actual team office days before a game and STILL got nailed with retarded convenience and processing fees (among others I'm sure).

It's a horrible monopoly and a complete scam. And there's nothing to do about it except vainly venting our outrage on the internet.

could be worse, went to check no doubt tickets and they're coming in at $100 each and the fees are only about $20 of it.
