Ticketed by camera.....

Just wondering if anyone here has gotten any speeding tickets or any other citations by getting caught w/ those nice little "police cameras" that are posted at different intersections. I've had to slam on my brakes a couple of times just so I didn't get caught but I've never really talked to anyone that has acually gotten ticketed like that.

A guy at my school got caught by the red light camera's. It was at night, and apparently the flash was pretty bright.
A couple accidents and speeding tickets later his insurance rate is @ $7k :Q

In Fort Wayne, Indiana the city government is trying to implement a system of traffic light cameras. They have a bunch installed already. The problem is that they cannot use them on state roads, which basically excludes any intersection of importance. They are trying to get the State laws rewritten. I personally don't care; I don't run red lights.

Acually... that is the great thing about Fort Wayne.... mostly everything that you really need to get to is on state roads.... at leat for me anyways I used to go there every once and a while to go shoping since I lived in the middle of no-where.

Just buy a new car every two months. That way you never have a front or rear license plate.

i took the license plate from my neighbors car (they always steal our paper) and put it on mine.

I know of a few people who got tickets in the mail. They send you the citation and a picture to prove it.
When the cameras first went up, there were reports of people blowing them up with m-80s.
