tick sounds in downloads of Mp3

I some how locked my last post on this subject. I have skips and tick sounds when I download from kaza or limewire. I have two systems both decent Machines. WHEN I play the song back off the harddrive or after I burn them and play the cd on my car stereo, ticks and skips are still there!

you mean the songs I am downloading from the internet is corrupted already! If so I dont have a problem with my machine thanks😎

if you're playing through winamp I suggest you change the output to Nullsoft DirectSound
that fixed the problem for me (in winxp)

His problem is that he's downloading crappy mp3 files that were ripped badly.

Yeah that problem looks like bad mp3 files. Nothing wrong with the hardware.

who said that he was downloading MP3s that are legal to download(mp3.com anyone?) what if he owns the original CD, tape or LP?

it's cool with the mods I guess if he has the cd to back up all his mp3's like we all do😉
