ti4400 vs 5600 ultra

I guess the 5600 Ultras have come waaay down. The excellent and attractive Gainward card is only $126 on Pricewatch. It beats any GF4 TI... without AA and FSAA and ESPECIALLY WITH the eye candy turned on. Sure a 9800 is faster but a good deal for the money I say. Personally I'm gonna spend $230 on a 9800 so I won't be obsolete quite as quick.

I just saw that the eVGA FX 5900 is $279 ..

I think I'll get this card. Should be a good card right ?

Yeah, that should be a nice card. I'm glad to see that the 5900's are finally in the ballpark as far as price. I think that evga one is clocked higher than the other 5900's..or maybe that was only on the ultra versions, I forget.

That's not a 5600U, it's a 5600. 5600U's are still an unwarranted (IMO) $200+.
