I had the misfortune of getting a 9500NP 128mb, thinking it was a Pro version. Now, i can't spend anymore money, so either I keep this card, or I can exchange it for a Ti4200 and get some cash back (minus a restock fee). What should I do? Thanks..

Run some benchmarks and compare with what others have gotten on a similar system... I think the 4200 would be faster though. If you could get a 9500 Pro, then its a whole other story.

think the Ti4200 will be a little better... but I am not really sure, like AgaBooga said, look (or if you can, try) for some benchmarks.

Yeah, as said before, run some benchmarks, or better yet, play some games and see how well it performs, then play some game with the ti and see if it's better.

Depending on what you paid for the card, a 9500NP should be OK.

UPDATE - i tried the hack, and i get the famous checkerboarding :(

I'm going to put myself into even more debt, and buy myself a 9700np... my last video card ever! I'm sick of all this upgrade crap now.. *prays that it will be powerful enought to play his last game ever - half life 2*
