I have a Gainward GeForce4 Ti4200 with VIVO capabilities. I hooked up the included dongle, but could not figure out how to get it working. I am trying to use Windows Movie Maker 2, but I cannot get it to recognize the camera. Does the analog RCA out cable from the camera hook up to the yellow or black cable from the video card dongle? Also does Windows Movie Maker 2 work ok, or do I need some better video editing software?

I also have the Gaiward GeForce4 Ti 4200 VIVO. I just used the VIVO feature w/ my VCR and the yellow (video) VCR line hooks up to the black dongle jack. I'm using the WinCoder software that was included in the video card package.

Maybe you could help me out. I also want to capture audio as well as video from VCR tapes. Currently, I have only been able to capture video but I have only been doing this for about 2 hours. I only have onboard sound - no PCI sound card.

To capture audio, you can use your soundcard's line in port. And then open the volume control at your toolbar to adjust the line-in volume. After that, just configure the audio settings at the video capture software that you are using.

Just a note, if you havn't installed yet the nvidia WDM drivers - pls do so coz the detonator driver alone doesnt have these files that enables you to capture videos in most capture programs.
