Ti4200 problem.

I recently had to remove my vid card and ship it to Gainward because it was causing what looked like dead pixels on my monitor. While it was out I installed the drivers for the onboard video that came with my Intel 845gebvl2 board. When I got my vid card back I installed it and the video worked fine. However, now my speakers (Altec 2100's) are randomly crackling when I play music. I switched speakers to make sure that wasn't the problem and it's not. Anyone have any suggestions of what I can do, or should I just go buy a new sound card like the Audigy 2.

Well, first off I can't see how you can stand onboard sound as it is 🙂

Did you remove the drivers for your onboard video after you put in the new card? They might be conflicting and causing disruption in your onboard sound.

I attempted to remove the line in control panel that said Intel Graphics driver software several times, but the line is still there. Whenever i try to click remove now, i immediately get the "would you like to restart..." dialog box. So i don't know if the drivers were actually removed or not.
