XFX cards have gotten some pretty good reviews. I'd say this is a solid deal.

8x AGP is a worthless marketing scheme, yes AGP 8x is backwards compatable. I would buy it if I had the cash. However, if you are willing to save up cash I would strongly recommend a Radeon 9500 Pro over a Ti4xxx.

Thanks for the quick reply Tabb. Unfortunately, I'm upgrading my HD (got in on the Officemax 120 gb drive deal thanks to Diggler), speakers (BA's from ebay, thanks to Kwad Guy) , and hopefully a new monitor soon, so I need to save wherever I can to keep the wifey happy :) This forum is definitely helping :)

Cool thanx, just picked one up. I've been waiting on a good deal for a geforce ti4200 w/ VIVO to replace my Radeon 64 DDR VIVO cuz it sucks with gaming.

anyone know some good VIVO software to use for this card?

I have a Ti4200 VIVO (unsure of brand) and need some software for it in order to use VIVO capabilities.

Parts # PV-T28A-NC at newegg

On the rebate, is says that is one of the two which they will accept the rebate for. i talked to one of my buddies and they said they never had trouble with them, so it looks legit and tasty :)
