because you NEED one for any college math class. Also you can't use the old ti 83. nope. you NEED the new ti 84.

My niece was told by her proff that he wouldn't help her with the ti83 i gave her.

TI calculators to schools are like Blackberries to Governments.

They somehow exist due to the existence of an entity. But make sense no where else!!!

And depending on the class, TI83/86 was permitted, but not TI-89.
The 89 has built-in calculus functionality, but the TI-86 doesn't. Something like that.
I wasn't permitted to bring my beloved TI-89 to a calculus test, but the TI-86 was ok.


My TI-89 came with me to work after college, and it's always nearby.
