I just join whatever random party and turn off my mic...but would also like to party up with friends...seems like it'd be funner.

Yeah man anytime. I play regularly with the same group of guys and I can get you in with us. We are pretty good and always have a good time and usually win.. 🙂

Haha, I'm far from the "king" of it. 😀 I do enjoy it though, because I'm always laughing my ass off whether I'm winning or losing. I love it because it's the perfect team match. The driver needs the VIP to shoot well, and the VIP needs the driver to drive well and get him to the checkpoints.

I still need to make a video dedicated just to Rocket Race.

No, looks like a lot of people aren't planning on buying them, it wouldn't be fair to say "buy or get out". No need to buy them unless you just want them.

As for infection, it's not even close to being my favorite game, but we'll definitely play some since everyone else seems to love it 🙂.
 
Everyone wish me luck in getting my 360 repaired 🙁, I was already off to a bad start when they didn't send me the return shipping sticker. I then had to wait another 3-4 days to get a new box that actually came with everything.

Screw that don't buy the new maps, wait until they are free. Unless you REALLY want them. I'm playing tonight and won't have them, so if they want us to leave I'll just go play COD4 😛
 
ill join, what gamertag am i looking for? mine is randum 311, i should be avail to play at 9central so 10eastern. got the maps last night didnt really get a chance to try them out, only played one and i fell asleep on the floor...kind of late

Thanks to everyone who showed up, it was a great turnout 🙂. Spidey, I'm glad you finally played a Thursday where more than just you showed 😛. For the newcomers, if you guys ever want to play something, let me know, or if it's a custom map you built, I'll hand you party control....doesn't matter to me.

Modeps, maybe we can set up a time for those of us with the new maps. I wouldn't mind trying them out.
 
Yeah I had a lot of fun, especially rocket race...

It was hard to break away from COD4 but it ended up being worth it.

I actually got some kills. What you guys should be really scared of this newbie is I was completely lit.

There was a really big turnout at 9pm but I honestly felt like there were just too many people.
Most of the maps we played on are great for a max of 8 players, then it just turns into luck instead of skill. Hopefully we can try out the new maps at some point.

just need to play bigger maps and team orientated instead of ffa.

But there just aren't that many great mid-size maps. Valhalla, IMO, is the only map that is great for more than 8 people. Sandtrap is just way too fucking big for the slow movement of Halo, and I will NEVER pick that map unless someone specifically requests it. That, and Sandtrap requires too much teamwork to utilize vehicles, I just don't care for it.

So what you're really saying is that you don't care for 14-person pistal SWAT on Guardian? 😀 I always start the custom games night with pistol SWAT, but usually there are only 6 or so people.
