Thursday Night Halo 3 Custom Games - December 13th

Let's try to get everybody together again for Thursday night custom matches in Halo 3. Modeps and myself would like to try out the new maps, but I'm aware that not everyone will be jumping on $10 price to buy these, so we most likely will have a room that most everyone hasn't purchased them (meaning we can't play the maps).

So, that aside, the other issue is that it's been suggested to try starting a bit earlier, although an 11pm start time saw the most action. Should we try starting even earlier at around 9pm eastern? Would more people be interested if we did this? That does put west coasters starting at 6pm. We'll start at whichever time is more popular, since either time will probably make people opt out.

But anyway, hopefully we can get some of you off CoD4 for a couple of hours to put in some Halo time. Chris, I saw yesterday that you've played almost 4 1/2 days worth of online CoD4, it's time to take a break for a night 😛 😀. Everyone else needs to show up as well.

EDIT: Start time will be 9pm eastern. If the time seems decently popular enough, that will become out new start time.

😛 haha you've got to love that feature of COD4. It doesn't feel like I've played it that much 😉

Well if you do it at 9:00pm eastern I'll most likely be there but I can guarantee you I won't be buying the new maps..

Do you guys ever play co-op? Maybe not even in Halo, but other games that support it? I'd be down for some of that. 🙂

I play coop in every game that supports it, it's one of my favorite features. I really wish COD4 had it.

CoD4 doesnt support co-op?! I'm surprised to hear that. Although, I guess IW has never had that feature in any of their games before so I guess I really shouldnt be.
 
Ya, I still need to coordinate with my brother and friend to go through on Legendary, and hopefully find a 4th person to help us.

I plan to be going through legendary in a couple of weeks when I have time off of work... should be fun, I hope.

Well, first you add blurredvision06 to your friends list. Then, you show up at the allotted time and I'll either invite you to my party, or you join it yourself. Then, just sit back and enjoy playing in whatever game types we dream up, or make a few suggestions yourself on what you'd like to play. If you've never played custom games before, I'd suggest just joining up, playing along, and see what's going on.

my roommate and I both play together but we only have one XBL account and he usually signs on as a guest. will that work for custom games?

Yeah it works, custom games don't count towards any stats/ranks
 
im not sure if im going to buy the maps or not. but id like to start playing on thursday with everyone. can the regulars send me a friend requests so i can start getting in on some of the action i need a changed from the regular playlists.

9pm est would always work the best for me.

gamertag is joph. so send me a request and say AT in the text so i know its you guys.
 
I would love to make it but lately I've been working the late shift Thursdays nights. So no custom games for me. 🙁
 
My last final was today, so I got a month off 🙂 so I should be there.

I'm not sure if I'll get the maps..... I've been rather broke lately.
 
Looks like there's a huge snowstorm bearing down on New England later today... Hopefully I'll make it home for 9pm. :Q

just got my 360. it was an early xmas gift. only had it for like a week now. only had halo3 since last friday.

so im still working on getting better.

havent playing halo in like a year.

chris - we should party up on call of duty. I'm always looking for people that play as a team instead of joining random rooms full of little kids (which is why I dont play it much anymore)
