Thunderstorms and tornado warnings last night

Down here in OKC, they predicted a 4-6" snowfall.

We ended up with a slight dusting this morning.

We're getting the opposite. They predicted less than an inch for this area and we're already close to 2 or 2.5

It's been getting hot lately so the snow is now rain. Arg I hate rain. I can't say I've ever seen thunder snow though, only heard of it.

Salina Kansas (central KS) here...got about 8" of snow last night 🙁. Just got done shoveling the sidewalk/driveway.

I don't see any thunder in the picture?

hehe....uh, I hope you're being facetious.

but it brings up my initial question: is lightning ever involved with thundersnow?

 damn you beat me to it, by a lot

I've never experienced Thundersnow, but would love to one day.

And did you see lightning at all? Is it really obvious, or hard to see?

I have seen thunder & lightening during a bilzzard once in my life, it was cool but you could only see a flash, which meant it was pretty damn close.
