Thunderbird

I just got Thunderbird as a an email client after reading alot of the positive things about it on here.

What I cant figure out is there away to set up how often it checks for new email? If not how often does it check?

Go to Tools and then account settings. Under Server Settings is a check box where you can specify how often it checks.

Go into account preferences and you can set it for each account.
