Thunderbird Pencil Trick

The socket A Durons and Thunderbirds have a set of "golden bridges" on the top of the ceramic CPU casing that control voltage, multipliers, etc.

To help prevent overclocking AMD cut through the L1 bridges, so that motherboards cannot override the multiplier. However, if you can reconnect the bridges you'd be home free...

The graphite in pencil lead is conducts well enough to reconnect these bridges. It's also something that is easily available and easy to apply. If you make a mistake you can use an eraser to rub it off. Works very well!
