For all those who are wondering if the 1.2 is unlocked or not, here's a picture.

Actually I've never heard about - or seen - a 1.2 that was locked!
(To be honest I've only seen 1 but heard about 20 or so LOL)

shiznut123, they don't 'unlock' it.

It is unlocked as standard, but cpu's with a lower Mhz-rating where locked by cutting the l1-bridges. By doing this you could not change the multiplier yourself. (unless you do the pencil trick)

They are unlocked because AMD doesn't think overclocking the 1.2 GHz parts is hurting the business of the other more expensive CPUs they make (there aren't any).
