You would need an exact stepping matched pair, and then you would need to do a bridge mod to turn them into Athlon MPs
 
If you don't have the board already the Tyan Tiger MPX is quite a bit cheaper and doesn't require registered RAM. The Thunder K7 needs at least one piece of registered RAM to boot. The Tiger can use registered or unregistered, but needs registered RAM to use the maximum amount.
 
could i just put two 2500+ athlon xps in thurr?

or all the stuff in my sig just get another processor?
