Thunder doesn't only happen when it's raining.

I think Fleetwood Mac lied. True, I've never seen thunder without a following rain or even proceeded by it BUT I have experienced thunder when it was most definitely NOT raining at that moment and didn't for perhaps many minutes afterwards.

This reminds me of the debacle that Alanis Morrisette experienced with the decidedly un-ironic lyrics in her song.
