OK, well I figured you were saying something about the cameras influencing their actions, and I was just going to point out that fake cameras would have the same effect.

Of course none of us know if the cameras influenced their actions, but it seems apparent that they went into the store with the intention to pay (since it appeared to be open), so I'll assume they just followed through on their intentions.

Many years ago I was taking classes at a local college and as I was walking out to my car early in the evening I noticed someone had left a purse on the roof of her car. I walked past and then stopped and thought what if someone else came by and just took it so I left a quick note with my name and number and told her I dropped her purse off at campus security and then I walked back and did just that.. She sent me a very kind letter thanking me for doing that.

OMG. I hadn't seen that thread. It blows my mind. Generally speaking when you say thug, most people DO equate it with black. It's not racist. It's a sad truism.

The intellectual dishonesty in the thread is staggering. Trying to twist his post into an accusation of racism is.. well...
