Smokers seem to think it's a "right" to throw their cigs out the window. Look at almost any major intersection with stop lights and you'll see hundreds of them against the curb.

People who litter don't all deserve to have their cars burnt to a crisp, but I have a hard time feeling an ounce of sympathy for them. It's his own stupid fault for setting his car on fire. He should have thought of that before tossing his cig. At least extinguish it first. But really, people just need to quit littering (Ha!).

I posted a thread a few years back about how annoying (and dangerous) it was when these mouthbreathers toss their disgusting trash out the window as if it somehow didn't qualify as littering, but I was blasted for it.

What's worse is that cops do it all the time, too. Of course, if they can't be bothered to stop at red lights, I'm not sure why I'm surprised by the fact that they're littering pigs, too.

Well society continues to limit the places smokers are allowed to smoke so there become fewer places for us to ash. My work removed all the outdoor ashtrays because, "they were fire hazards". Smoking is banned in all indoor public areas in the state I live in, but very few of them have increased the availability of outdoor ash trays.

Non-smokers sure do hate dealing with our mess, but love to keep raking in tax revenue off our habit.

hey...we keep people employed picking up trash on the side of the roads.

There is something liberating about doing 60mph down the road and letting a candy bar wrapper or even better, a 20oz bottle go and watching it gently glide to the surface of the earth....that reminds me, I gotta go clean my car...time for a nice country drive.

i know a guy that made the news for this, he blamed it on a cigarette but he really dropped his joint on the floor of his vw bug and it burned to the ground lol. of course he told the cop is was a cigarette
