Throttling Bandwidth

We have 13 guys in my frat house with SHDSL 1.5/1.5 5 wide
Some keep using kazaa slowwing overall speeds. How do i throttle speeds so say they get less bandwith and some get more. Using a RP614 router

Yep, I agree on the NetLimiter solution. UNLESS you are familiar with Linux and want to setup some throttling solutions that way. If they are OK to slow down their speeds, then the NetLimiter solution is best. If they are grumpy about it and you need to control them, let Linux be your leash. 😉

I've help setup some servers with Linux and some bandwidth throttling solutions for the massive LAN parties I help run in my area. Works like a CHARM!

what can netlimiter all do? Can it give the kazaa ppl full access when no one else is needing bandwidth? Or, does it just limit it to a certain max amount regardless of who else is needing bandwidth?

Is there a way to do this remotely from my computer. Theres no others way through the router or anything?
I just do want to have to install that prog on each computer

Assuming the people not using p2p outnumber those who do - say, 10v3 - just go to each one in turn and tell them to "knock it the fvck off, asshole"
