Three XP Qs

I prefer using Backup without the Wizard and would like to know how I may disable this feature. I just can't seem to create an ERD with it.
The second question relates to how users log on. I seemed to have disabled through some program I installed, or at told so by Windows, the Welcome screen and Fast User Switching. How do I reenable it without not knowing the program. I got a reference to a dll file that I searched for but could not find. All hidden and system files are set to be seen.
While I am on this point of logging on one could with W2K Pro create a warning/welcome message at logon. This was in the Local Computer Policy console through MMC by selecting the subnode of Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options. Locate and select Message tile for users attempting to log on | Action | Security | select Message text for users attempting to log on | select Action | then click Security. In the field, one could type a welcome/warning message and then click OK to activate it. I did all this with XP but nothing appears before log on or any point thereafter. Does anyone know why this is and offer a possible solution?

If I remember correctly, the ability to create an ERD is not available in Windows XP.
That is what the Recovery Console is used for.

To answer your second question.

If you wish to disable Autologon, you can do it in the registry.

Goto:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Name: AutoAdminLogon

Value: 1 enables auto logon
Value: 0 disables auto logon

Getting the LEGAL NOTICE to display correctly should work after disabling FAST USER Switching\AUTO LOGON.
If the system is a client in a Domain, the Domain Security Policy overrides it.

Right now FAST USER Switching\AUTO LOGON is disabled but the Legal Notice is not being displayed. This is standalone computer and not part of any Domain. In terms of the ERD I read on Microsoft's site that the Backup can be disabled and perhaps the option of creating an ERD may be available. But there is no indication on the steps of disabling this function.
