I am 38...thought it would be a lot harder this time around. Blew out my elbow 4 years ago, there is still joint damage at hyperextension so I have to avoid getting into that area.

I am supplementing the crap out of myself, protein/meals every 3 hours, etc.

Getting nice and swollen :) People are noticing it, my polo shirts are now getting caught on my bicep peaks again and my chest / shoulders stretching them up top nicely.

Abs are getting nice and flat...dropped 10lbs yet drinking water constantly.

Shooting for 'tight' in about 4-6 more weeks, getting my striations and vascularity back.

Still a bit down on the weights I want to use and not maxing anything yet. This next week I am going to start logging and adding weight progressively.

I am doing 4 sets mostly 12/10/8/6 for the big compounds and 3 sets of 10/8/6 for the more minor movements.

For my reps of 12 and 10 put up:
185lbs for squats
65lb DB incline presses
90lb preacher curls
320lbs leg press
skull crunching 90lbs (this still is sore in the bad elbow)

cardio is going well, doing 40mins at 4.5mph over 30%-45% grades with some flats for 3 mins between.

I am seeing some of the same people in the gym and they look no different and still either too skinny or fat. I am in and out in 45 mins or so and they are there when I get there and there when I leave. They just go through motions it seems, no concentration, no effort... It's sad thinking about the time loss they are into with no real gains...plus the financial cost of a gym.
