1.  A couple of months ago this started.  When I boot up my laptop, it says that my adapter isn't recognized.  So of course, if the cord is removed, it shuts off.
2. My touchpad is being bitchy too. I have "click lock" turned off and it's still allowing it to recognize touches as left-clicks. Is there some other way I'm supposed to turn it off?
3. This is the embarrassing one. I've done this 4,203 times and I still can't remember I've fixed it. My start menu/bar has lodged itself on the right-side of my screen and I can't remember how to get it on the bottom.
