three pin does not fit in two pins slot on fans :^)

Hello, I need a little help. I know, I know, why am I trying to put a square peg in a round hole. I want to install after market GPU fans on my SLI cards but the fans come with three pin ends. My cards have two pin slots. Original fans have black and red wires while the Zalman's have added a white wire. For speed adjustment? I would prefer that the cards determine fan speed. Is there and adapter or is it possible to wire the white with one of the other wires? If no other choice I will use a manual fan controller but this is not the best for me, prefer something that I can not mess up. Thanks for an help you send my way, John

Just do not use the White Wire .. It is only a speed output from
the fan, which fan controllers and the BIOS can use to determine
how fast the fan is running. The speed is changed by varying the
voltage to the fan.
