Is that the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6II APO?

I picked one of those up a few weeks ago. Very nice lens for the price. Delta Int has them for about $180.

Right now I am playing with a Canon 28-135mm IS. This is a really nice lens.

Nice pics btw...I assume you used a tripod or monopod to get out that far?

Yes, I got mine from Delta International last October for $154. Interesting to see that the price increased. As far as I know there are a lot of people who buy this bargain lens.

I take all of my photos (except long exposures at night) handheld because I do not like to carry around a tripod (or setting it up each time). I am thinking about buying a monopod though.

What sort of stuff do you do to the pictures for post processing? Links? I like taking pictures, but I don't really know jack about what else other than what I think is nice for composition and the bare basics. :)

What post processing did you do? Did you burn out the background in photoshop? Or nothing that drastic, just some sharpening and color correction?
